Terms of Service
The terms of using this site and its tools.
Using this site
You may read, link to and quote this site. The texts, photos and the SN logo are mine; please ask before republishing them in full.
The tools
The tools on this site (such as the compass deviation calculator) are free to use. They are provided as they are, without any guarantee: check every result that matters. For a ship’s compass, the official deviation card and a qualified adjuster have the final word.
Projects and work
The prices on this site show where a job starts. Nothing on this site is an offer: every piece of work starts with a written scope and price agreed by e-mail before it begins, and those terms are what apply to it.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
