A block-theme site from Figma the client edits without a page builder
I built an electrical firm's site from Figma as a native WordPress block theme. The client edits it himself, and it loads fast on phones.
A German web agency brought me a regional electrical services company that needed a new site from a Figma design. The client wanted to edit it without calling a developer. The design had no mobile version and no layout for a single service page.
Before the build I settled the open points with the agency: which variants, how things behave on mobile, where each link goes. Then I built a native WordPress block theme with no page builder. Sections are block patterns, and the service categories have Site Editor templates in three colour variants. The client switches the category of a post list himself.
Where the mockup had nothing, I designed the mobile menu and the single service page, plus the 404 and search pages. PageSpeed gave 100 on desktop and 94 on mobile with no optimisation plugins, and 100 on mobile after the move to the agency’s server. The accessibility score was held back by the colour contrast in the design, and I pointed that out.
In a second round I added company, careers and contact pages and a full-width carousel, and fixed a slider for an image of a different height. Then a parent-theme update removed the site’s font. So I moved the site from a child theme to its own standalone theme, with its own CSS and JavaScript that need no jQuery.
I recorded videos so the agency and the client can edit templates, patterns, menus and spacing on their own. In September 2026 the site was live on the standalone theme. Others have added content since, in the same editor I set up for them.
A new site for an earthworks company, from Figma to Elementor Pro
I built an eight-page site from a Figma design, with a mobile layout the design didn't have, and moved it to the client's host.
A plugin with a critical security hole removed, then an update plan
I removed a backup plugin with a critical vulnerability from a small business's WordPress site, connected the site to the agency's management service and gave the agency an ordered update plan.
A German and English site a lighting studio can edit itself
I built a lighting studio's two-language block-theme site and moved its menus to where the client can edit them per language.
